The challenge has been set

Rain, hail or shine, Andrew Hearne, AKA Mr Fairweather, will be travelling up from the Bay this weekend to smack the butt of any and all the single speeders that Canberra can muster.
In a taped phone conversation earlier this morning, Andrew set the challenge to all local riders to 'muscle up' and ride at this weekends CORC race at Kowen Forrest.
"I am fit, hard and ready to race" Hearne announced."I have changed gearing for this weeks course, and I will be on fire. LOOK OUT!".

Lets hope that the weather predictions of fine and sunny come true, and we will see Andrew deliver on his promises.

  1. Once again the Prestontown Spin Doctor is attempting to cover up the fact that he has been mysteriously absent from the first 2 rounds of the CORC 09/10 XC series despite a SS catagory being created for this precious sole. As in the story of the "boy who cried wolf" the regular SSpeeders eagerly await the attendance of Mr Scott Preston (AKA Mr No Show) or will we once again be dissapointed with a no show. Please Mr Preston don,t let us down again.

  2. What has "Christmas", "Easter" and "The Mayor of Prestontown racing his SS" have in common?

Yes they only happen once a year.
There is nervousness within the SS fraternity with the thought of his possible attendance on Sunday. Reports are in that Mr No Show has been going about his pre-race rituals. Today he was spotted entering the Bungendore Beauty Salon for his customary waxing (Brazilian Style). Tomorrow should see a visit to the dry-cleaners to pick up the pink skin-suit and matching thong. This leaves only the bonfire and sacrificing of the local Prestontown ferret (believed not to be endangered as they breed like rabbits and only one is required anually).

Well fellow single speeders only two sleeps to go until the return of the king so cuddle up to those rigs and sleep well.

  3. Where's the SS race report from Rnd 3?
It looked like it was a battle to get on the podium.
Make sure you get to round 4 at Sparrow, it's gonna be a corker of a loop.
    Bellcha
